I'm still alive!!

wOah.. its almost 2 months since I last blog-ed! My goodness.. hmm.. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that my “disappearance” occurs exactly at the time sch started. If you still don’t know yet, sch’s crazy. If you don’t think so, you’re probably
1) scoring As every sem such that ur CAP is above 4.5
2) cant be bothered abt pulling your CAP because the next milestone is too far away, with the
lower milestone being too far away as well
3) insane urself

So far, the 8 weeks that have passed have been a mad rush of schwork, tuition, training, workshops, just because I have to maintain my CAP. Yeap, I am most unfortunate to be in a position where I cannot reach the next milestone but very close to losing my ground on my 2nd lower degree. So, all I can do is struggle through this sem, and it doesn’t help that I only have 3 exams. To some, this may sound like great news, but for many who doesn’t know, it’s madness. 3 exams indirectly means I have 2 non-examinable modules and non-examinable modules in NUS is overloaded with work. Worst is one of them is somewhat a design module, all about creativity and drawing, the two things I so sorely lack. Haha.. to think I still appealed for it.. damn! But I was really lucky, for soooo many assignments, I had help from Elephant Leg with coming up with ideas and concepts. Thank you, I love u so much!! And thanx to gthifr for all the drawings and photoshops/fireworks! Haha.. Anyway, if any1 wanna laugh at my work (not me!).. here is the site to my works.. http://nm2208gerald.blogspot.com/

But the other non-examinable mod, is extremely fun!! Tut every week is just playing games throughout. Every week’s assignments is playing games n making critics about them. Anyone who can do this module, I really strongly encourage u to do.. it is so fun! (NM 3216 if u r really interested) Haha.. but for this 2nd project (1st project is boardgame), I am assuming the post of programmer, which is the toughest job of all. Guess it’s going to be another mad rush in the following weeks. But then again, probably it would do my gd, mayb I will be more skilled in making games in future. Hee~ When it is done, I will definitely try to upload a playable version on the blog to let u play! Haha…

The other mods are relatively alright, except for Probability. Initially still thot it’s going be easy cuz its maths, and somewhat similar to what I’ve learnt in jC, but now, I just wished that I could S/U the mod. Too bad it’s a core mod.. I’ll probably fail with success of 0.7.

I’ve been to lesser soccer trainings than I have ever since the start of NUS. No choice.. a total of 3 trainings, 1 is out cuz of tuition, one is out due to photoshop/illustrator workshops (for the irritating nm2208), leaves me with only 1 training to go to. As a result of this, I think Im getting fat. Yep. Fat. Which is bad. Haha.. so I must strive to go for more trainings from now on, cuz I feel quite guilty about turning up for so few trainings.

What has been really interesting was Jap lessons on Saturdays. I feel like Im really learning some things, think its going2 come in useful when I go over to Japan next march. Then again, Keio uni has not really approved of my place yet.. can only just wait with fingers crossed..

Hope I can keep up with my posts, whether its updates on myself, or interesting stories.. but if u dun hear from me again by end nov, im probably buried under the piling work. And if u still dun hear from me by end of dec, pls call me to check if im still alive. =p
